Coachella Valley Horse Rescue

The primary purpose of Coachella Valley Horse Rescue (‘CVHR’) is to rescue horses from abuse, abandonment, and slaughter. CVHR rescues and rehabilitates horses and finds them forever, loving homes in the Coachella Valley community. They give horses sanctuary, love and attention that are too traumatized to ever be adopted.

CVHR is a registered 501(c)(3) that connects people with rescued horses to help educate and improve the quality of life for children and adults interacting with horses. Programs offer equine-assisted growth and awareness within the community including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Veterans and Seniors as well as contributing to community service hours for student credit.

Our goal is to expand our services to local schools by offering field trips to our ranch and local YMCAs to enrich their summer and winter camps. We also want to offer financial assistance to kids who otherwise couldn’t afford horseback riding lessons.
